The Holy Scriptures
We believe that all scripture is God-breathed and is useful for teaching, rebuking, correcting and training in righteousness, so that the man of god may be thoroughly equipped for every good work. (II- Tim 3:16-17) The Eternal Godhead We believe that God is Triune, Father, Son and Holy Spirit (II – Corinthians: 13:14) each of whom is fully and equally God: possesses all of the divine nature and attributes, and is totally worthy or our worship and service. (Deuteronomy: 6:4; Mathew: 28:19; John: 1: 14; 10:30; 2 Corinthians: 13: 14) The Holy Spirit Holy Spirit continues Christ’s Mission in the world through the Christ. The Christ believers, who are baptized and filled with Holy Spirit, speaking in the others tongues according to Act: 2: 4. The fruits, Gifts and ministries of the Holy Spirit are available to the Church, to day, to sanctify life and have effective testimony of Christ. The Mediator Jesus Christ, the only begotten Son of God, is the divinely appointed mediator between God and man. Having taken upon himself nature, but without sin. He perfectly fulfilled the law; suffered and died upon the cross for salvation of sinners. He was buried and rose again the third day and ascended to His Father, at whose right had he ever liveth to make intercession for his people. He is the only mediator, the prophet, priest and king of the Church, and sovereign of the universe. The Fall of Man We believe that man was created in the image of God, but that by voluntary disobedience he fell from perfection. (Romans: 5: 12) The Plan of Salvation We believe that while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us, signing the pardon of all who believe on Him. (John: 3: Romans: 16; 5-8) The Spirit-filled life We believe that it is the will of God that we walk in the Spirit daily (Ephesians: 4: 30-32) Salvation Through Grace We believe that we have no righteousness and must come to God pleading the righteousness of Christ (Ephesians: 2:8-10) Salvation is only appropriated by person placing his faith in the finished work of Christ. |
The Repentance and Acceptance
We believe that upon sinner repentance and a whole –hearted acceptance of Christ, we are justified before God. (1- John: 1:9) Baptism with Water Water baptism is an ordinance of the Lord Jesus, obligatory upon every believer (adult), wherein he is immersed in water (dip) in the name of the Father; and the Son and of the Holy Spirit, as a sign of his fellowship with the death and resurrection of Christ, remission of sins, and of giving himself up to God, to live and walk in the newness of life. It is prerequisite to church fellowship, and to participation in the Lord’s Supper. (Math: 28:19) Daily Christian Living We believe that it is the will of God that we be sanctified daily, growing constantly in the faith (Hebrews: 6:1) Gifts and Fruits of the Spirit We believe that the Holy Spirit has gifts to bestow upon the Christians; and that we should show spiritual fruit as evidence of a spirit-filled life. (1- Corinthians: 12: 1-11; Galatians: 5:22). Moderation We believe that the experience and daily walk of the believers should never lead him into extremes if fanaticism. (Philippians: 4: 5) The Church Lord Jesus Christ is the head of the church, which is composed of all His disciples, and in Him is invested supremely in to particular societies or churches; and to each of these churches He had given needful authority for administering the order, discipline and worship which He hath appointed. The regular officers of a church are Pastors or Elders and Deacons, with five-fold ministries. The Lord's Supper The Lord’s Supper is an ordinance of Jesus Christ, to be administered with the element of bread and wine, and to be observed by His Churches till the end of the world. It is in no sense a sacrifice, but is designed to commemorate His death, to confirm that faith and other grace of Christians, and to be bond, pledge and renewal of their communion with Him, and of their church fellowship. The Divine Healing We believe that the bible teaches that healing is for physical ills of the human body and is wrought by the power of God through the prayer of faith and by the laying on hands. It is provided for in the atonement of Christ and is the privilege of every member of the church today. (Mark: 16:18; Isaiah: 5:14, II- Peter 2:24; Mathew: 8:17) |
The Seconding Coming of the Christ
we believe that the second coming of Christ is personal and imminent (1-Thessalonians: 4: 16, 17) and He will come back on His day. The Civil Government We believe that rulers should be upheld at all times except in things opposed to the will of God (Romans: 13: 1-5) The Sanctification We believe that the bible teaches that without holiness no man can see the Lord, we believe in the doctrine of sanctification as a definite yet progressive work of grace, commencing at the regeneration and continuing until the consummation of salvation at Christ’s return. (Heb: 12:14; I- Thess: 5: 23; II Peter: 3:18) The Lord's Day We believe that Lord’s Day is a Christian institution of regular observance, and should be employed in exercises of worship and spiritual devotion, both public and private, resting from worldly employment’s and amusement, works, of necessity and mercy only excepted. The Final Judgement We believe that God hath appointed a day wherein He will Judge the world by Jesus Christ, when every one shall receive according to his deeds; the wicked shall go into everlasting punishment; the righteous into everlasting life. (II- Corinthians: 5:10) The Heaven We believe that Heaven is the glorious eternal home of born again believers. (John : 14: 1-3; Revelation: 7: 15-17) The Hell We believe that Hell is the place of eternal torment for all who reject Christ as their Savior (Revelation: 20: 10-15) The Evangelism We believe that soul winning is the most important responsibility of the church. (James: 5: 20) The Tithes We believe that the method ordained of God for the support and spread of his cause is by the giving of tithes and free-will offerings (Malachi: 10; II-Corinthians: 9: 7) We agree to teach tithing on a continual basis as a necessary element in every Christian’s Life, regardless of income, to enable them walk into the fullness that God has planned for them. |
